The New York Times: On Tour in the
Republic of Letters
This illustration appeared in The New
York Times on December 5, 1999 in the Travel section. The
article by Larry Wolff, recalls a conference he attended
in Dublin, where he was accidentily locked in a chamber
of Dublin Castle with a colleague for a few moments, and
how they found themselves eerily surrounded by the images
of the figures they study.
