nice work and a sweet site wrapped around it. I -love-
your sketchbook pages. If you have a chance, please check

as yours, but it contains a similar diversity of work.
I'd love to get your reaction.

Jon,
Hello! Your work is fantastic!!! I sure wish I could sketch
like you. I am a family man, wife and a six-year-old son,
living in a small basement flat in the country of Yugoslavia,
city Belgrade. Until recently I have worked for a local
Humanitarian agency ADRA, and I have worked for them since
the beginning of the conflict. I don't any more. Now I
am trying to do some drawing, something I really love
to do, and develop a stile. I can do photo drawings, and
I send you a sample, but what I would really like to learn
is to draw like you. I am self-taught. Could you help
me please? How do I draw a placement map, as some would
call it? Or, how do I get started? I would appreciate
weary much if you could, its probably to much to ask and
you are quite busy I'm sure, could you mail me a copy
or two, or some samples of your work so that I can frame
it and put it up? Please sign it! If you will maybe some
picture instructions on how to get started. Please! You
don't know how much this would mean to me. If I had the
money to spend I would tern to every one of your sketches
and I'm sure I would enjoy looking at every one. Well
I hope this is not an imposition. Your friend regardless.
Michael
P.S. Please drop me a line or two. Thanks!

range from cartoony to realistic. Yet your style seems
to be somewhere between the two and it works very well.

Hi
Jon!
I have been looking for your WSJ sketch of that Yankees
announcer. Has it happened yet? It was great seeing
you a few weeks ago. Doug enjoyed meeting you too.
Great web site. I keep showing everyone in my office!
(by the way: I noticed that your resume still has
the NJ address)
Doug and I will probably visit NYC sometime in August
or September. Maybe we will see you then.
Take care,
Kathy

Had
a terrific time looking at your main page, but we don't
have the software necessary to view your animation or
other links. We'll work on that. It was great meeting
you at Larry's party. Bye.

Figured
someone with a surname like yours must be pretty creative
and intelligent.

I
stumbled upon your site when I was registering on the
Alumni page. It is a delight to see that another SHS graduate
is doing such wonderful artwork. I also started college
as an art major, but quickly realised I did not have enough
talent. I am delighted to see that you do! Good luck!
Your site is delightful.

Hello!
Thanks for putting up all of your artwork on the
site. I've come back a second time to look at the same
pictures, and they are just as interesting. The lizard
animations I like too.

Your
paintings are excellent! Really inspiring stuff.
I love painting with watercolours. I just wish I could
paint like that. Your style is very effective.
Do you sell you painting? If so how much are they?
They must cost a packet. What brand of colours do you
use?
Have you got any more paintings?

Looks
great, Jon. Just browsing through, again, to gain some
insight in to the look of a proper & professional webpage.
I was both surprised & impressed by the new material.
Enjoy your travels.
