This was a painful loss. On the first night of my honeymoon in late August of 2004, our car was broken into and all of our belongings were stolen in Potrero Hill in San Francisco. We lost a ton of stuff, most of it replaced thanks to insurance, but not this...This sketchbook had my travel journal from my amazing trip to Thailand, Vietnam and Japan from 2003, and basically documented my life out in Los Angeles, for the year and a half I spent there. All that remains are these images. Glad I have these at least! This is was started on December 13, 2002. It's a Moleskine, which seem to be some of the nicer sketchbooks out there right now. The only drag is the paper can't hold up to much paint / abuse. Nice for drawing, and definitely wins points for the nice creamy off-white color, but not as good as the Rivoli, or Rives Artist paper.
